To The Soldiers of our Nation We Thank You
A time gone by into a new, remember me today please and pray.
The silent Soldier never seen nor heard helped me get what I have today.
My Freedom
The silent Soldier weeps today.
The silent Soldier laughs. The things we see so different from.
Don’t try to understand.
I ask for nothing but perhaps a prayer, to come back home to my family and friends.
As I humbly fight this fight today to keep you safe tonight.
No harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:10 - 11
Above all else, soldiers want to come home.Yes -- they fight for their country and die for their friends, but they live to come home.
Most are afraid that they will lose their girlfriends or wives - that everything will have changed by the time they make it back.
Send a little love tribute and encouragement to a soldier or veteran today. Always remember that as “One Nation, Under God” the United States of America is far, far removed from the turmoil and danger that is experienced around the world on a daily basis, and that we are so very blessed to live where we do - especially during the holiday season. The closest that we have come to experiencing that turmoil and danger in recent times were the events of September 11, 2001.
Remember that the men and women of the United States Military have freely chosen to protect us and give us this gift.
It is a gift that can never be reciprocated in full, and only asks for remembrance in return.
Many American Soldiers will not come home from their stations of turmoil and danger around the world to be with their families and friends for the holidays.
The American Soldier will stand steadfast and strong, continuing to protect us and fight for freedom in places around the world with conditions that we cannot even begin to imagine.
May God Bless them and their families, and may He hold them safe in His arms until they come home again.
SheDaisy, Come Home Soon
I put away the groceriesAnd I take my daily bread
I dream of your arms around me
As I tuck the kids in bed
I don't know what you're doin'
And I don't know where you are
But I look up at that great big sky
And I hope you're wishin' on that same
bright star
I wonder, I pray
And I sleep alone
I cry alone
And it's so hard livin' here on my own
So please, come home soon
I cry alone
And it's so hard livin' here on my own
So please, come home soon
I know that we're together
Even though we're far apart
And I'll wear our lucky penny 'round my neck
Pressed to my heart
I wonder, I pray
Even though we're far apart
And I'll wear our lucky penny 'round my neck
Pressed to my heart
I wonder, I pray
I still imagine your touch
It's beautiful missing something that much
But sometimes love needs a fighting chance
So I'll wait my turn until it's our turn to dance
It's beautiful missing something that much
But sometimes love needs a fighting chance
So I'll wait my turn until it's our turn to dance
I wonder, I pray
I sleep alone
I cry alone
Without you this house is not a home
So please, come home soon
I walk alone
I try alone
I'll wait for you, don't want to die alone
So please, come home soon
Come home soon
Come home soon
I cry alone
Without you this house is not a home
So please, come home soon
I walk alone
I try alone
I'll wait for you, don't want to die alone
So please, come home soon
Come home soon
Come home soon
